If you are open to the world around you, you will be surprised to learn about the wonders this world is full of and certainly Russia is one of them. This is a wonderful country. When you start to deal with Russians, you can be shocked by many things which may happen to be customary in Russia.

People tend to be inclined to generalization, which is wrong in itself because every person is unique, but still the common traits are easily followed, from which we can conclude that Russians are very cordial and welcoming people.

There are so many things for a foreigner in Russia he could be amazed with. This is the country of contrasts, with the most chic cars every foreigner dreams about, in the streets of Moscow and poverty of country houses at the same time. The cultural heritage is great and Russian spirit penetrates through everything in Russia. Travelling to Russia will surely be a unique experience, which you will remember all your life.

Russia passed through hard period not long ago and its history contains many shocking facts, which may be unclear for the foreigner’s mind, not prepared to accept and digest this info. In the 90-s of the last century, for example, only seven percent of the whole population of the country paid taxes.

The original unique features are expressed in many ways in Russia and they manifest themselves in a number of ways. People are open and sincere with you and this is a usual thing here. They are very hospitable. Once invited to somebody’s home, you will be surprised to see the affluence of tasty delicious things on the table served for you, even if people living here hardly know you. They treat you as a family member. This welcoming hospitality conquers the heart of every foreigner, who comes with fear to Russia and leaves the part of his heart here when leaving this country.

I’ll begin by stating again a myth that dies hard: That people over 60 [substitute your own age] aren’t having sex. Part of this is that we just don’t want to think of our parents as actually having sex, no matter how old they are, no matter how old we are.

Guess what? Your parents are doing it. So are your grandparents. If they’re a healthy couple, that is, who enjoy each other and are still enjoying life.

Sex over 60 is sublime. Sex under 60 is also sublime. In this article let’s look at the things that make sex over 60 sublime, in a humorous way, because some of the things that startle, amuse, and slightly embarrass you about your Granny are some of the things that can make sex under 40 sublime.

I originally wanted to write a story about how mentally resilient Russian Women can be but instead I ended up writing about what many of these ladies go through on a daily basis.   I think this post is equally effective in illustrating my original point about their general fortitude.  The following scenario in itself is fictional but every element is completely grounded in everyday reality here.  Click the various links below to see more images.

Did you know that only 34% of Russian families own cars and the rest rely on various forms of public transportation to get around?

Now at first glance this may not seem so bad but when you combine this with extreme weather and a lack of modern infrastructure for the vast majority of the country outside of Moscow, a whole different set of visuals comes to mind.

I must tell you the words Travels fast enough in this town ..

So if a person comes here and does something completely stupid everyone will know about it very quickly ... especially me ..

Basically it starts with another friend of a friend who is a local taxi driver with an incredible history.

A few weeks ago he was hired to be the personal driver for some relatively well off man from America who were, in accordance with local girl here for some time.

Well, I stumbled on this wonderful Natasha again, who I mentioned in a previous post.

Unfortunately, it was not so happy, this time she asked me for advice.

"The U.S. embassy rejected my application for a second visa to the United States."

"I'm very sorry to hear that Natasha .. What was their reason?"

"This is my last year at the university, and they just let the 2 nd and 3 rd year students in."

She looked at me with sad eyes and asked.

"What do I do now?"

"I do not know Natasha .. I do not know .."

As the weight of the severe restrictions on their future sank in..

I remembered reading the latest news about the latest push the U.S. government for the provision of more "amnesty" to millions of illegal immigrants from Mexico.

By some estimates 12 to 30 million illegally entered the United States over the past 30 years. And in addition to this there is a proposed program of guest workers, allowing them to work for up to 3 years, legally that ultimately only a phase transition for them to get a green card down the road.

Thus, while all this is happening to my friend Natasha was given only 1 trip to the U.S. for a period of 4 months and then closed it out back.

And this disparity just pissed me off because of the following realizations:

    * Here we have a bright young, traditional and beautiful Russian girl, who speaks perfect English and has studied it, and American culture for over 10 years.

    * At age 22, she already knows what she wants to get married, have children and work when she can earn extra income for themselves and their future family.

    * It does not violate U.S. law, to enter the country, and instead worked very hard to stick them in the first place to qualify for her first Visa.

    * She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity that it should have been in the U.S. compared with the previous summer, and dreamed of another visit.

    * There is a high probability that this young woman is intended to make an American man was very lucky guy, who will share their joy with other men, who frankly could use all the help they can get in finding a great woman.

    * If so, then someone like Natasha, of course, for his part in a dramatic reverse the downward trend in marriage that we see in the U.S..

    * But on top of it all ... It is natural enthusiasm and open girl who would like to share almost anything with it around her. It just kind of optimistic person, which will create numerous positive ripple with the people she meets, and it is incredibly valuable thing.

So basically my question is this ..

Why the hell are we not giving her and more Russian women like her in the U.S.?

This incredible girl is completely at the opposite end of the spectrum when you look at the thousands if not millions of illiterate illegal immigrants who are in the country. Illegals who all too often reduced anchor babies or trying to collect some form of state handouts from the larger system of public administration that loves the word "welfare".

Now I can not blame people for wanting to find a better life for themselves.

But I can certainly criticize the messed up priorities of our government in terms of who they are and who they let him stay away.

So, now I'm in a tough position because I care about this wonderful young lady, and I have no answer to it.

But I'll do what I can find.

I am very glad to see the following article in Bloomberg, after all slanted and biased press that Russia and the CIS women seemed to have been getting for such a long time.

    Three years after the first exchange of e-mail to Anna on the dating site, a web designer from the south coast of England made a 2200-mile trek to Ivanovo, Russia in the "city of brides." He and Anna are now expecting their first child.

    Ivanovo region has the highest ratio of women to men in Russia, the legacy of the Soviet textile mills that imported female workers from across the country. The city, which once helped marriage bureau recruit young women for foreign spouses, is now enticing residents to stay and raise families. This is fueling a baby boom as Russia struggles to stem population decline.

Now it's great to see how the coverage of this on a city in Russia, but keep in mind that Ivan is not the only place with a large imbalance in the ratio of men and women. You can travel anywhere in most of the former Soviet Union and it is easy to experience it for yourself.

We can learn much about themselves as men, taking time to observe other creatures in nature.

And one of the most profound discoveries we can do is to understand how much effort put into Mother Nature's programming, much of our self-esteem as men to be dependent on women.

(And, of course, the converse is also true)

Young or old.

Experienced or not.

There are always different levels of dependence at all stages of life.

9 May Victory Day in Russia.

And from a historical perspective does not mean anything to them, the victory over Nazi Germany in World War 2.

I've always been fascinated by the role that Russian women are in this epochal conflict. I've always heard different stories about the heroism and endurance they have demonstrated not only in supporting roles, but in actual combat.

When I think about that world, as now, it's hard for me to imagine what these women went through to defend their country. Because of this conflict, where more than 20 million Soviets were victims .. spared nothing and nothing was left of the table in the theater of operations.

I was quite surprised when I stumbled upon this article, which was caused by the news of Tony Blair's sister-in-law of Islam.

It turns out that her appeal was not an isolated incident and that indeed there is a significant trend of western women in the UK, which also follow this path.

Although this article would never admit it and instead of contacts reason for the "shallow existence" in the West ..

It was quite obvious to me that what these women were actually working with a hostile dominant culture of the radical feminist who destroyed their natural identity as a woman. There is simply no sanctuary left to them that they can see, except for Islam.

I have mixed feelings about this, because on the one hand, I absolutely support their freedom of choice to achieve their own happiness .. but, on the other hand, just unfortunately means that traditionally female values of heat, and respect for the family to western women completely destroyed. 

Traditional bridges, which once supported and held the women over the water were completely burned to the ground, and now the only bridge they see on the horizon has a large crescent moon adorning it with the "hijab" dress to hide their beauty from the world.
